STid allows you to upgrade the functionalities and security levels of all your readers. The modularity concept allows you to implement new functions: keyboard, touch screen or biometric fingerprint sensor and/or add a 125 kHz module for your technological migrations.

The reader uses the latest MIFARE® DESFire® EV2 contactless chip technologies with new data security mechanisms: • S ecure Messaging EV2: secure transaction method based on AES-128 with protection against interleaving and replay attacks. • P roximity Check: improved protection against relay attacks.

 

All public encryption algorithms can be used (3DES, AES, RSA, SHA, etc.), which are recommended by official data security agencies (such as the French national agency ANSSI).

The patented tamper protection system protects sensitive data and gives the possibility to delete the sensitive data.

 

Unlike the current solutions on the market, the reliability of the accelerometer based technology avoids it being outsmarted.

 

STANDING THE TEST OF TIME

 

The reader’s IK10 certified vandal-proof structure has been optimized to resist knocks and malicious acts. It is designed to withstand harsh environments (IP65 level excluding connectivity): dust, heavy rain, frost, etc.
